There are around forty restaurants here in Zahara. All of them serve the highest quality seafood and it’s all caught locally. The tuna is superb; you’ll find it on every menu. There are also a few Italian restaurants here.
Casa Juanito on Calle Sagasta serves nine different types of tuna fish dishes. It’s a typical Andalusian bar, founded in 1948 - very traditional. They have a wide range of seafood on the menu, including homemade anchovies, which are meant to be exquisite.
La Sal restaurant is in the Atlanterra Playa urbanization. It has been opened for 8 years and has a loyal clientele. It’s very intimate, with only a few tables. The main room is decorated with modern art, which contrasts nicely with the rustic furnishings. The specialty is salted fish.
Cristobal Restaurant-Pizzeria serves some of the finest pastas and pizzas in Zahara. There are numerous tuna dishes on offer too. Dishes are cooked in a large firewood furnace, giving them their unique flavour and texture. Popular choices are the Roquefort dishes, along with the delicious and crispy pizzas.
